Halifamous Profiles

Jim Mills started Office Interiors in December of 1991 with a vision to Inspire You to Love the Way you Work. He has been a valued supporter of many non-profit organizations including Feed Nova Scotia, Halifax Hospice, and the IWK Health Centre.
His brother Don recently sold Corporate Research Associates Inc. (now Narrative research) a company he founded in 1978. He remains an active entrepreneur as well as a regular columnist with both the Saltwire Network and Brunswick News. In addition, he co-hosts the Insights Podcast with David Campbell. He continues to be actively involved in a number of community causes.
Both Don and Jim and their sons Mike and Matthew are dedicated to help Family SOS in their fight against food insecurity with Halifamous Delivers.
Jim and Don understand the importance of family and as Top 50 CEO Hall of Fame award winners, they also understand that a little healthy competition is paramount in achieving your goal...whether that be around the dinner table, in a board room OR hitting the roads with pizza in tow.
When you order a pizza and vote for Don & Jim, they'll translate this vote of confidence into the motivation they need to reach their pledged goal of $20K.

After establishing a successful construction business, Ocean Contractors Limited, Jack and Marion Flemming had the desire to “give back” to their community. As such, they created The Flemming Charitable Foundation in 1999 with a mission to assist the less fortunate at a local level.
The Board of the Flemming Charitable Foundation is composed of both Jack and Marion as well as their four children, Karen, Colleen, John and Scott. As a foundation they have been long time supporters of Family SOS and when the opportunity arose to participate in Halifamous Delivers, they couldn’t resist. With family being core to everything they do, The Flemmings know that no goal is unachievable with the right people on your team.
When you order a pizza and vote for The Flemming Family and their supporters, consider yourself one the “fam” because no team can make it alone!

In 1982, George Armoyan founded Armco Capital and grew it from a small business run almost entirely by two brothers into a diversified and dynamic group of companies. Though still true to its roots as a residential real estate developer, over the years Armco’s portfolio has expanded to include many commercial and industrial development sites.
The Armoyan Family has always put corporate responsibility at the center of their mandate in order to help organizations provide measurable impact to the communities that need it most. As proud supporters of the QEII Lottery, The IWK, The Mental Health Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and Feed NS to name a few, The Armoyans were happy to step up when Family SOS needed them most and are committed to reaching their $20K goal in the fight against food insecurity. Order now to sell out the city!

Dr. Lisa Barrett & Phil Otto
Dr. Lisa Barrett and Revolve CEO Phil Otto team up to help sell Halifax out of pizza and raise much needed funds for Family SOS.
Dr. Lisa Barrett has gone from being a well-known name in the international science and infectious disease community to a recognizable voice and face in households across Canada. Whether its the latest on emerging vaccines, a leader in rapid testing, or proper mask usage, Barrett has been a trusted source to local, regional and national media for sharing the facts around Covid-19. The infectious disease doctor, research scientist and assistant professor of immunology also spent two and half years conducting clinical trials and lab work with Dr. Anthony Fauci, Chief Medical Advisor to US President Joe Biden.
Phil Otto was instrumental in getting the Halifamous Delivers concept off the ground with his good friend Rob Steele.
